Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust cyber security strategy aligned with the company's goals and industry best practices.
• Lead and manage the cyber security team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
• Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across all digital and BPO operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Coordinate and lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team on the status of the company's cyber security posture.
• Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and adapt the security strategy as needed.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 4-5 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective cyber security strategies.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
