ATS Software Development Engineer

• Develop software for Automated Test Systems (ATS) and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) using Python/ C#.
• Develop diagnostics and calibration software for ATS/ATE.
• Design scalable data structures and server integration (MES, ERP, traceability).
• Interface with MES for product tracking, barcode, and result logging.
• Work with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, quality, production) to define system-level test strategies.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to resolve issues related to ATS/ATE, including hardware, firmware, and software aspects.
• Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to build test programs for each product.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong experience in software development (C#, Python) and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of instrument communication protocols (GPIB, VISA, SCPI, CAN, USB, RS485, RS232).
• Knowledge of cloud-based test data management or centralized control systems.
• Experience with automated calibration, version control, and remote test management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
• Experience with NI Test Stand, C#/.NET automation.
• Knowledge of PCBA or EOL testing in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with data visualization or report automation.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
