Cloud Engineer (Fresher)

You will join the Cloud & IT Operations Team — responsible for operating multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), campus IT infrastructure, and digital education services. Cloud & Access Management

• Support IAM and access control operations across Google Workspace and AWS, guided by senior engineers.
• Assist with security monitoring, cloud cost controls, and basic automation tasks on AWS.
• Learn and apply IAM and SSO (SAML/OIDC) best practices across multi-cloud environments.

Education Platform & Google Workspace

• Assist in administering Google Workspace for Education: user lifecycle, security settings, and Classroom operations.
• Support integration of education platforms (LMS/SIS) using SSO and standard APIs, with team guidance.

Network & Infrastructure

• Support campus network configuration and operations (Wi-Fi, VLAN, VPN, security) under direct supervision.
• Monitor systems, assist with incident response, and support backup, DR, and compliance activities per SLA.

Document and Reporting

• Maintain and update SOPs and runbooks — a core skill you will be trained on from day one.
• Contribute to monthly operational reports alongside the team

Required:

• Graduated or graduating in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or equivalent
• Basic understanding of cloud computing (AWS, GCP or Azure) — even with limited hands-on experience
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP
• English proficiency for reading technical documentation (fluent speaking not required)

Nice to Have:

• Has used Google Workspace Admin Console or AWS Console, even in a lab or sandbox environment.
• Holds AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Digital Leader, or an equivalent entry-level cert.
• Basic exposure to Terraform, IaC, or automation scripting (Bash/Python).
• Familiarity with LMS, SIS, or digital education systems.
