Connectivity Specialist

• Understand Schaeffler specific Connectivity solutions (edge devices, software solutions, server solutions)
• Definition and assessment of machine specific connectivity solution and implementation of the solution (within the Asia Pacific plants)
• Analysis and conceptualization of Connectivity framework and architecture in Schaeffler plants
• Implementation of additional sensors and hardware in the machine
• Training and Consulting for further employees regarding Connectivity
• Assessment of external connectivity solutions and benchmark with Schaeffler solutions
• Project Management and cross-functional collaboration with regional and global departments
• Identify client requirements (technical challenge, business objectives, success criteria, and exclusions) to recommend a tailored solution.
• Engaged in client fieldwork and training, focusing on delivering standardized analysis on digital transformation.
• Lay out a connectivity road map for our portfolio and working closely with Product Management.
• Evaluate current systems and technologies, assess identify gaps.

▪ Bachelor of science (preferably Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Communication Technology, Computer Science, IT) 
▪ With more than 2-3 years' working experience in related field 
▪ Experience in (PLC/NC) Programming, machine communication protocol, network technology and/or Data Engineering 
▪ Strong technical know-how and practical competencies in the IT Systems 
▪ Problem solving skills and good communication abilities. 
▪ Knowledge of production processes (manufacturing technologies and machines desired) 
▪ Hands on mentality and structured way of working. 
▪ Good knowledge and interests in digitalization topics & solutions 
▪ Very good at English skills
