Data Engineering Support (Temp)

1. Data Understanding & Importing:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and improve data collection and storage processes.

· Monitor and improve data governance processes to ensure compliance with data regulations, policies, and standards.

· Design and implement data flows to ensure efficient and reliable data movement (e.g., unit and integration tests).

2. Data Cleaning & Manipulation:

· Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

· Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and enrichment processes, including:

o Verifying that data shows accurate information and is consistent across the dataset.

o correcting or removing incorrect, incomplete, or duplicate data within dataset

o Extracting and manipulating data in readiness to be uploaded to online systems.

3. Reporting & Visualization:

· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

· Develop and validate the appropriate metrics to measure success for a given problem.

· Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to data analytics and data management within the teams.

·       Proficiency with Python & SQL (inc. strong data analytics skills using Python)

·       Proficiency with Power BI (Data Visualization and Reporting purposes)

·       Experience in data management is preferred.

·       Aability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.

·       Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, tailoring your message to your audience's level of technical understanding.

·       Nice to have:

o   Understanding the FMCG industry and business domains is beneficial.

o   Experience with Saleforce CDP and Marketing Cloud.

o   Experience working in agile organizations.
