You will be joining a talented team to build and operate modern data platform. As a DataOps, you are responsible for managing the technical aspects of data platform operations such as managing data pipelines, data integration, and data quality, as well as ensuring that data is being processed and stored efficiently. This includes managing the infrastructure used to support data operations, such as VMs, storages, and data platform services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing datap pipelines and data integration
- Ensuring that data is processed and stored efficiently
- Monitoring data quality and ensuring that data meets relevant standards
- Managing the infrastructure used to support data operations, including VMs, storages, and data platform services
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to data operations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and objectives.
- Work closely with data engineers, data analysts and data services team to understand data needs and operate the system that meet data governance requirements.
- Writing and managing technical documents (Operation process, operation guide/runbook ...).
- Report the progress/issue status to department director.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a DataOps operating a Data Platform.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with databases, SQL, data integration tools and knowledge in one programming languages like Python, Scala or Java …
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools
- Understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management - Knowledge of data quality and data lineage management
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in data modeling, data lake, data warehouse, and streaming data.
- Strong proficiency in big data tech stack such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka.
- Strong proficiency in Airflow for designing and managing complex workflows and dependencies.
- Solid understanding of data analytics and flow analysis for downstream app.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ready to help other team members.
- Knowledge of security practices in the context of data handling.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile software development practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Good project management skills: able to manage time effectively & deliver high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Possess a proactive mindset & positive attitude, able to bring in good influences to your teammates & stakeholders.
- Ability to read and understand English fluently.
It is a plus if you have:
- Knowledge of private cloud platforms (e.g., Openstack) and related data technologies.
- Knowledge about Data Architecture in the bank, Data model using Data Vault 2.0.
- Knowledge and methods to build a data-driven working environment.
- Know-how to set up, configure and maintain a data self-service environment.
- Know-how to set up, configure and maintain a machine learning model development environment.
