Position Objective:
The IT Manager is responsible for developing and managing the IT infrastructure for the company, its subsidiaries, and the schools within the group.
This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems, hardware, software, and digital technologies that support business operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services across the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and educational goals. Lead the IT department in delivering efficient and effective technology solutions.
- Oversee the IT team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff members. Manage IT projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
2. IT Infrastructure and Systems Management
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure (network, servers, cloud, hardware,ect).
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of all IT systems.
- Manage data cloud, network architecture, and system integrations (Sale force, ISAM, Base and others).
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of enterprise systems.
- Ensure systems align with operational and educational requirements (for schools).
- Manage software licensing (microsofl office, adobe, ect) and vendor relationships.
- Oversee IT setup for new campuses, expansions, or facilities (if any).
3. IT Operations & Support
- Manage IT helpdesk services for staff and students with the setup and use of technology in teaching and learning.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Establish and monitor IT service standards and SLAs.
- Support the effective use of educational technology platforms and classroom digital tools.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the school’s audio-visual systems used in classrooms, meeting rooms, and school events.
- Support the AV Technician to ensure effective support for multimedia and event production needs.
4. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Develop and enforce IT security policies aligned with school standards.
- Ensure protection of student data, staff data, and school systems.
- Monitor risks and implement appropriate cybersecurity measures.
- Manage company compliance with local regulation regarding to data privacy.
- Manage and control company compliance with cyber safeguarding policy.
5. Budget & Vendor Management
- Manage IT procurement, vendor relationships, and service providers.
- Oversee IT assets, software licenses, and lifecycle management.
- Manage IT budgets, cost control, and procurement planning.
- Plan for future technology investments based on the organization's strategic goals and financial resources.
6. Others
- Provide training and support for staff on IT systems and tools.
- Other duties as required by the organization and project needs.
