Job background:

- Recruitment for the new factory (currently, no resident IT staff)
- Vinh Phuc factory size: 1,600 employees
- IT infrastructure team: 1 Japanese, 2 Vietnamese (mainly based at Hanoi Factory, also supporting Vinh Phuc Factory)
- Report line: Japanese Manager
- Joining date: negotiable (The earlier, the better)
- Interview process: 2 rounds

Job description:

You will work for the following tasks based on the IT policies established in Japan and the Hanoi factory.
- Setup and maintain internal IT infrastructure (servers, networks, etc.)
- Implementation of IT security measures
- Communicating IT-related announcements to Vietnamese staff
- Other tasks arranged from Japanese Manager

Note:
- Communication with the Japan side will be handled by the Japanese manager.
- In the future, there is a potential career path to have and manage the IT staffs.

- About 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure (having hands-on experience such as server setup, network system, cabling, and security implementation (not only help desk))
- English (Intermediate: reading/writing, and communication with Japanese Manager)

In details;
- Understanding of basic PC components (CPU, HDD/SSD, Memory, GPU, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience to independently perform PC setup (including software installation and activation)
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot PC peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners, bar code readers)
- Knowledge of basic commands required for network troubleshooting (e.g., ipconfig, ping, tracert)
- Possess logical thinking skills necessary for narrowing down issues during troubleshooting
- Ability to create flowcharts, network diagrams, and other technical drawings

Preferrable Skills:

Preferred – Knowledge and experience relevant to the company’s network environment
- Experience in operating and managing Windows Server
- Experience in operating and managing Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in operating and managing Active Directory
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi and VPN

Preferred – Additional skills and experience that would enable future contributions
- Experience in building, operating, and managing servers on Ubuntu
- Experience in implementing, configuring, and operating L2/L3 switches
- Knowledge of security measures (Firewall, EDR, MDM, etc.)
- Experience in creating and operating PowerApps
- Experience in creating and operating VBA
- Experience in implementing, operating, and managing CCTV systems
- Programming experience (any language, limited to those with actual work experience)
