Our goal is to enhance the B2C online marketplace. We operate in Vietnam, with the aim to expand in Asia.

Our platform provides a dynamic and engaging shopping experience by offering multiple sales models. We will serve both everyday needs and luxury desires.

Our goal is to match consumers and sellers to their own real valued price. How we will do that will be revealed to the applicant only once they are engaged and signed their NDA.

Solution Focus

Building our app will be focussed on 3 main pillars:

• Strategic Pricing matchmaking via specific sales models: To match buyers and sellers at ideal prices, optimising revenue & platform users benefits.

• Data-Driven Matchmaking: Employing AI, advanced algorithm and behavioural analysis for personalised user experiences and fostering demand-supply harmony.

• Engaging Gamification: Enhancing user engagement through daily tasks, challenges, and a VIP program to stimulate interaction and platform loyalty.

The role:

We are looking for a Tech Lead who is poised to steer our project's technical direction, leading a vibrant team on our mission to revolutionise the marketplace app domain in Asia. Collaborating closely with our Product Owner and a dedicated group of interns, you will be instrumental in shaping an application that is not only technically robust but also engaging and intuitive for users. Your deep expertise in full-stack development and DevOps, especially with Kubernetes, will ensure the delivery of a high-performance, scalable solution that sets new standards in the marketplace landscape.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Guidance: Mentor and lead a team of approximately five interns, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. You will be the primary code reviewer, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining the highest standards of code quality.

• Full-Stack Development: Take charge of full-stack development tasks, including both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our marketplace application across various platforms.

• DevOps and Kubernetes Management: Utilise your extensive knowledge in DevOps practices to set up, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our application deployment processes.

• Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate development cycles and enhance product quality.

• Collaboration and Problem Solving: Work closely with our Product Owner, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and solve complex problems with innovative solutions.

• Quality Assurance and Security: Oversee the implementation of rigorous testing frameworks and security practices to ensure the application is robust, secure, and user-friendly.

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development and at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in full-stack development languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js, Flutter). Solid understanding and experience with Kubernetes and DevOps practices are essential.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of interns. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

• Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
