Technical Designer

BROAD FUNCTION | TRÁCH NHIỆM CHUNG

• Manage technical aspects of garment development from sample development through bulk production, ensuring products meet customer specifications, fit, quality, and construction requirements.
• Collaborate with Pattern, Sample, Production, QA/QC, and Merchandising teams to review samples, resolve technical issues, and ensure production feasibility.
• Review and maintain Tech Packs, measurements, fit comments, construction details, and technical documentation throughout the development process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES | TRÁCH NHIỆM CHI TIẾT CÔNG VIỆC

• Review Tech Packs, specifications, measurements, construction details, and customer requirements to ensure technical accuracy.
• Conduct fit evaluation and provide technical comments to improve garment fit, balance, shape, and overall appearance.
• Work closely with Pattern Makers/CAD, Sample Room, Production, QA/QC, and Merchandising teams throughout the product development process.
• Review samples from development, fit, size set, and pre-production stages and ensure all technical comments are properly implemented.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to patterns, measurements, garment construction, workmanship, and fitting.
• Ensure garments meet customer requirements and are technically feasible for bulk production.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting technical issues during the pre-production and bulk production stages.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, specifications, fit comments, and sample records.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | YÊU CẦU CỦA CÔNG VIỆC

Professional experience:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Garment Technology, Fashion Design, Apparel Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Technical Design, Garment Technology, Pattern Making, or Product Development within the garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, measurements, patterns, and grading.
• Good in using Gerber
• Ability to read and understand Tech Packs, technical drawings, and garment specifications.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good English communication skills are preferred.
