TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Software Development Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications, APIs, and database solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core technologies.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core API.
• Implement and maintain MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture-based applications.
• Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Manage source code using Azure Git or GitHub repositories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
• Document software designs, technical specifications, and development procedures.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience & Technical Skills

Development Tools

• Experience with:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or MySQL Workbench
  • Azure Git, GitHub, or equivalent source control systems

Backend Development

• Knowledge of C# programming language
• Experience developing applications using:
  • ASP.NET Core Web Applications
  • ASP.NET Core Web API
• Understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts

Frontend Development

• Experience with:
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript

Database Development

• Experience working with:
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL
• Ability to:
  • Write complex SQL queries
  • Create and modify Stored Procedures
  • Perform database performance tuning and optimization
  • Support AWS-hosted redundant database environments

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and development practices
