1. System Administration & Maintenance
- Manage day-to-day operations of the ERP system , ensuring system stability, security, and performance.
- Monitor system logs, batch tasks, server health, and background jobs.
- Oversee user access, permissions, role setups, and segregation of duties.
- Perform patch installations, version upgrades, and testing of system enhancements.
- Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and security policies.
- Database tuning with support from IT Infrastructure administrator.
2. Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Level 1 support issues across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or relevant modules.
- Diagnose and resolve system errors, workflow failures, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Liaise with ERP vendor or technical vendors when escalation is required.
3. Business Process & User Support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into system configurations or improvements.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation and SOPs.
- Provide user training and refreshers to ensure high adoption and correct usage.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate tasks within the ERP.
- Ensure that all integrations of sub-systems are supported and troubleshoot for any failure.
4. Data Management
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and compliance with internal governance.
- Oversee master data setup and control (Items, Suppliers, Customers, Chart of Accounts, etc.).
- Perform data imports/exports using Sage X3 tools (ADC, Excel add-ins, etc.).
5. Integration & Technical Support
- Support integrations between ERP and external applications
- Knowledge of Jaspersoft reporting tool is an advantage.
- Working PowerBI knowledge is useful to support existing data models.
- Work with developers on scripts, customizations, and APIs.
- Review and optimise existing custom objects, reports, and workflow
6. ERP team management
- Lead a team of ERP assistants who are responsible for basic ERP master data such as SKU , BOM creation.
- Ensure that all data preparation are ready to support time critical MRP run
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Good command of English language is a MUST and must be competent in in written and spoken form.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ERP administration, preferably managing systems running for multiple years.
- Strong knowledge of the following:
- ERP functional modules (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing).
- Preferable with Sage X3 administration console, folder management, batch server, Syracuse Administration.
- Role-based security, workflows, and parameter settings.
- SQL database (basic queries, monitoring).
- Proven experience with system upgrades, patches, and environment maintenance.
- Familiarity with APIs, customisation frameworks, and integration tools preferred.

Nice-to-Have
- Experience in Power BI ( or similar tool) , data warehousing, ETL tools.
- Knowledge of other ERP systems or cloud migration.
- Experience supporting a multi-country or multi-entity environment.
- Background in manufacturing industry.
