IT Specialist (Strong at Network)

1.     Management of the office network, server room, meeting rooms, maintenance, and management of printing, access control, and surveillance systems at the representative office;

2.     Desktop computer operation and maintenance for employees, support for important meetings, and improvement of IT services in the office;

3.     Administrative management of Huawei's Ho Chi Minh Office, including office environment, employee vehicles, travel arrangements, administrative expense management, and support for meetings and events;

4.     Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

·       Proficiency in Chinese/ English communication

·       2 - 4 years of working experience in relevant role

·       Desktop Maintenance: Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer hardware issues, installing and resolving problems with Windows operating systems, handling Outlook email and various software issues. Prefer qualifications: MTA, MCSA, MCSE certifications.

·       Conference Support: Skilled in using conferencing software such as Huawei Cloud Meeting, Teams, Webex, and other video conferencing platforms.

·       Capable of designing conference plans for quarterly or annual meetings held in hotels, including projection systems, audio systems, lighting systems, and online conferencing solutions.

·       Network Support: Wide Area Network (WAN): Familiar with basic router configuration, port settings, routing table setup, and capable of fault diagnosis and network optimization. Bonus qualifications: HCIP, HCIE, CCNP, CCIE certifications.

·       Local Area Network (LAN): Experienced in configuring Layer 3 switches, VLAN segmentation, port settings, and using network management software such as Cacti and WhatsUp. Capable of LAN planning and management.

·       Wireless LAN: Proficient in common commands for wireless network controllers, wireless network optimization and planning methods, and using Huawei network management tools such as Campus Insight and eSight.

·       Server Room Infrastructure: Knowledgeable in UPS capacity design, server room layout planning, high-voltage electrical design, ventilation design, and fire safety management. Familiar with major UPS manufacturers in the industry.

·       Servers and Operating Systems: Skilled in RAID configuration, hardware fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, installation of Windows, Linux, and VM operating systems, and configuration of common Windows services (e.g., DHCP, Domain Controller).

·       Printing Systems: Experienced in configuring network printers and document scanning methods, familiar with secure printing mechanisms across various printer brands and their corresponding management systems.

·       Access Control Systems: Knowledgeable in design standards and requirements for access control systems, principles of wireless control switches, and familiar with major access control system manufacturers in the industry.

·       Surveillance Systems: Proficient in design standards and installation requirements for CCTV surveillance systems, calculating storage capacity for monitoring systems, and familiar with leading surveillance system manufacturers in the industry.
