Job Descriptions

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a IT Supervisor is responsible for manage and support day-to-day factory IT operations, including IT infrastructure, ERP/MES/MRP support, cybersecurity controls, and practical digitalization to ensure stable systems, data integrity, and timely IT services for production and business functions. Coordinate with Operations/Quality/Planning and Corporate IT/vendors to resolve issues and deliver improvement initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. IT Infrastructure & System Administration

- Manage daily operations of factory IT infrastructure: LAN/WAN, VLAN, Wi‑Fi, firewall/VPN, servers, virtualization, backup, printing, end-user devices.

- Monitor uptime and performance; execute preventive maintenance and incident response to minimize production impact.

- Maintain IT asset lifecycle: deployment, configuration, patching, upgrade planning, license tracking, and replacement schedule.

- Maintain system documentation: network diagram, IP plan, standard configurations, SOPs, and recovery procedures.

2. ERP/MES/MRP System Management

- Provide local support for ERP/MES/MRP and related factory applications (barcode/labeling, traceability, WMS interfaces, reporting tools).

- Act as primary local IT contact for issue triage, root-cause coordination, escalation, and user communications.

- Coordinate enhancement requests with Corporate IT/vendors: requirement gathering, UAT support, deployment readiness, and post go‑live stabilization.

3. Industry 4.0 Digital Transformation

- Support factory digitalization initiatives to improve visibility, productivity, quality, and equipment connectivity.

- Coordinate integration between MES - ERP - Quality systems, including data collection and dashboards.

- Maintain practical reports/dashboards for operations: WIP, output, OEE, yield, downtime, scrap, quality KPIs; identify and implement actionable IT/automation improvements within assigned scope.

4. Cybersecurity & IT Compliance

- Enforce factory IT security controls including user account lifecycle (provision/deprovision), periodic access reviews, endpoint protection, patch compliance, and firewall/VPN/MFA controls (as applicable).

- Ensure compliance with Corporate IT policies, backup standards, and audit requirements; coordinate security reviews, vulnerability remediation tracking, and incident escalation with Corporate IT.

- Conduct periodic network security audits and risk assessments.

5. Cross-functional Support

- Partner with Operations, Quality, Planning, Finance to optimize system-driven workflow.

- Manage IT helpdesk team to provide timely support and service resolution.

- Provide IT training and system knowledge to end users.

6. Vendor & Budget Management

- Manage IT projects, vendor contracts and SLA performance.

- Prepare and control annual IT budget (hardware/software/renewal).

- Evaluate investment for automation, licensing, and future upgrades.

7. Leadership & People Development

- Lead IT Engineers, System Admins, Infrastructure Support team.

- Build IT capability, succession plan, performance goals & training roadmap.

- Foster proactive, customer-service mindset and continuous improvement culture

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.

2. Experience

- 5+ years IT experience; 2–3+ years in manufacturing (EMS/PCBA/SMT is an advantage).

- Experience supporting ERP/MES/MRP in factory operations; coordinating with vendors/Corporate IT.

3. Others

- Technical Skills:

+ Network administration, server infrastructure, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

+ Database management (SQL Server/MySQL).

+ Cybersecurity frameworks, backup policy, disaster recovery planning.

+ IoT, API integration, machine connectivity is a strong advantage.

- Soft Skills:

+ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent communication & stakeholder collaboration.

+ Leadership presence & ability to manage multiple priorities.

+ English proficiency preferred for vendor interaction, and communication with Corporate IT teams in the U.S.
