SQL Server DBA
A database administrator who are able to manage databases built with Microsoft SQL Server on-premises (mandatory) and Azure SQL services (preferred):

• Azure SQL Database;
• Azure SQL Managed Instance;
• SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines (Windows and Linux)

• Experience with DBA for SQL Server databases for a least 3 years, preferred with databases of ~ 10TB size.
• Preferred with Microsoft DBA certificate.
• Able to use a variety of methods and tools to perform and automate day-to-day operations, including applying knowledge of using Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and other tools for administrative management purposes

Good knowledge of database solutions:

• Provisioning, Management;
• Availability, Failover, Replication, Backup, Restore;
• Security, Access control;
• Performance monitoring and optimization

Familiar with tasks:

• Plan and setup SQL Server databases;
• Configure, monitor, operate, maintain, and optimize SQL Server database resources;
• Troubleshoot and tuning for database performance and data jobs, e.g. index, partition, deadlock, wait type…
• Configure and manage automation of monitoring, logging, audit, operation and maintenance tasks;
• Plan and configure data replication, backup, restore, high availability/ disaster recovery (HA/DR), and failover;
• Plan, implement and monitor data security, access control, user management, remote connection, audit log
