Scrum Master - Game Entertainment

This is a vital role in the success of product development teams. Scrum Master is accountable for Scrum Team’s effectiveness. The effectiveness can be listed in 2 areas:

• Build up people capabilities & mindset.
• Ensuring frequent values delivery.

Report to: Head of Agile PMO

Responsibilities:

Servant Leadership:

• Ensure Scrum Framework is correctly, positively, productively and creatively adopted to get the best benefit from its practices.
• Remove barriers and impediments which potentially slow down teams.
• Facilitate team’s activities to foster empowerment, collaboration and transparency.
• Be a role model in time-boxed practice, ownership mindset, growth mindset and welcome change mindset.

Project Management:

• Ensure continuous values delivery.
• Recruit effective techniques to support the development and measure the success.
• Be the point of contact for internal and external project’s information. Including all areas: scope, plan, resource, communication, risk, process and quality.
• Be a role model in effective communication, trust culture.

Authorities:

• Fully empowered in deciding how to facilitate and lead Scrum team’s activities.
• Join in making decision on building up the scaled framework.
• Information transparency and open discussion with peer and line manager.

• Excellent people skills, problem solving skill, time management skill, communication skill and public speaking skill.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Scrum Master role in software development.
• Know different Agile implementations and scaled frameworks.
• CSM, PSM 2 or other equivalent certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar fields.
• Minimum English IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
