Backend Engineer (Golang/Python)

Resposibilities

• Help build and maintain backend services using Go, Node.js, and Python.
• Assist with integrating complex systems — ERP, POS, mobile app, e-commerce, inventory, and more.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and support.
• Implement database layer and write efficient & performant queries.
• Develop APIs and contribute to our event-driven systems for seamless communication.
• Contribute to system reliability by writing tests and helping monitor services.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code while learning and following our engineering best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Good programming fundamentals in at least one of our core languages: Go, Node.js, or Python, PHP, and etc. (not Java, not DotNet).
• 2-3 years of experience in backend development with strong project experience.
• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• An interest in or some exposure to concepts like microservices, CI/CD, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Basic understanding of web security principles and building APIs.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures).
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong passion for learning and problem-solving.
• Experience in building front-end facing services, mobile apps, and integrating with frontend stacks such as Next.js, React, React Native.
• Hands-on working with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with different database types: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., payment, logistics, social login).
• A good understanding of software testing principles and automation.
