AI Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI systems to support the company’s Smart Manufacturing initiatives. This role spans the full AI development lifecycle – from data preprocessing and model development to production deployment – addressing real-world challenges in manufacturing automation, computer vision, and enterprise AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML/DL solutions including predictive models, computer vision pipelines, LLM-powered applications, and AI agent workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other factory data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality & Reliability) to translate operational problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Deploy models to production environments, optimize inference performance, and ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Develop AI automation workflows and agentic systems that reduce manual effort across manufacturing operations.
• Monitor model performance, identify degradation, and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with AI research and proactively propose innovative solutions aligned with business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering or AI/ML Engineering
• Strong foundation in Python, data structures, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with ML/DL frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• Experience deploying models to production environments (REST APIs, containerization)
• English proficiency: TOEIC 605+ or equivalent (IELTS / TOEFL iBT accepted)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Computer Vision libraries and frameworks (OpenCV, YOLO, torchvision)
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and tool-use patterns (e.g., function calling, RAG pipelines)
• Experience with MES systems or industrial data platforms
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or manufacturing quality methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Whys)
