[IT Dept.] Senior IT Security

The primary role of IT Security Solution job is to ensure that approved IT security policies, rules and/or configurations are implemented across MB Life IT security systems and its Infrastructure. This role of this job is to ensure that all security and/or monitoring software, computers, firewalls, servers, devices, appliances, and related IT infrastructure are up to date and configured based on existing MB Life corporate security rules, standard policies and procedures. This role requires the candidate to understand the security context and operational specifics of the BFSI industry, especially the integration and security protection of the core insurance system. The role also involves ensuring effective implementation of IT security practices within cloud environments (AWS, O365…). This role requires experience in the application of AI in cybersecurity operations such as threat detection, anomaly analysis, system monitoring, and automation.

• Ensures appropriate MB Life systems and/or devices are properly configured, updated and working appropriately to detect potential threats and security incidents.
• Overseas and monitors the system security operations (cyber and internal) such as user account management, network vulnerability scanning, virus database update/scanning and other security measures (detailed below) are performed in accordance with existing MB Life standard policies and procedures.
  • Detection of anomalies, cyber threats and fraudulent use of computers and computer systems.
  • Security electronic communication (email and social media);
  • Protection of personal data and privacy.
  • Secure IT development with regards to MB Life business applications
  • Data masking, encryption, security testing, certification, digital signatures and Public Key Infrastructure
• Provides support, education and training for all employees in terms of IT Security risk awareness within the organization.
• Performs audits, reviews, analyses and report submission of security log files as described in approved IT security policies.
• Participates in the review of investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities.
• Provides technical support, education and training to all employees in terms of IT Security risk awareness within the organization.
• Provides technical support and/or recommendation on IT security technology that would help align MB Life with the latest technology and industry standards

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security or a related technical field. Master’s degree is a big plus. 
• At least 3 years solid IT experience with actual hands-on experience in IT Security operations and monitoring using top of the line technology solutions.
• Practical experience or familiarity with security operations in the BFSI sector, especially life insurance sector is a significant advantage.
• Proven experience managing cybersecurity in cloud-based infrastructures (especially AWS, O365…).
• Experience or involvement in AI-based applications in cybersecurity, including automated threat detection, anomaly detection, or log analysis
