Junior CloudOps / SysOps Engineer Linux

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and junior IT professionals who want to build a career in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Operations.

You'll receive hands-on training, real-world operational experience, and mentorship while working with modern cloud and infrastructure technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor and support enterprise cloud and infrastructure environments
• Troubleshoot Linux, cloud, virtualization, and system-related issues
• Assist with infrastructure automation and operational improvements
• Participate in incident response and problem resolution activities
• Collaborate with senior engineers to maintain service reliability and performance
• Follow ITIL-based operational processes and best practices
• Continuously learn and develop technical expertise across cloud and infrastructure technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Basic knowledge of Linux from coursework, personal projects, internships, homelabs, or self-study
• Basic scripting experience (Bash, Shell, Python, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve
• Team player with good communication skills
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Nice to Have

We don't expect candidates to have everything below. Any exposure is a plus:

• AWS or other cloud platform experience
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, Xen, or Nutanix
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD concepts
• Linux or cloud certifications (RHCSA, LPIC, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.)
• Participation in internships, university projects, homelabs, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
